Made This has acted sa the system architect on Glentevejens new streaming venture that aims to make streaming of cabled TV channels available for customers to stream via applications.

The project was named Glenten TV and in the project we have been responsible for obtaining offers, validate the offers feasibility as well as plan the implementation and operation of an on-premise solution.

Streaming as an extra customer benefit

It all started with an antenna in a backyard and today, Glenten is Denmark's largest independent antenna association. The road to streaming started with a desire to expand the existing streaming offering with more channels, and a "catch up" feature that would make it possible to replay previously shown live programs.

Acting as lead architect

In order to investigate how Glentevejens antenna association ambitions for a new streaming solution could be realized, Made This has been working as supplier contact and obtained various offers that we have assessed and negotiated with suppliers based on project specifications. From the various solution models, we have been responsible for assessing, assembling and implementing the various parts into a comprehensive streaming solution together with the involved suppliers.

Stabel and reliable implementation

Developing and implementing the new streaming solution, Made This has been responsible for securing the network, the transcoding of the media content, the storage and the management of the playback clients. In addition, we have been responsible for implementing Kubernetes for Glentevejen's new on-premise server solution, and are currently responsible for the operation and monitoring of the streaming services.

Long-standing operations partner

As operations partner, we are responsible for monitoring performance and ensuring that the system runs smooth and safely with maximum uptime. In addition, Made This provides secondary support on the technical set-up and is responsible for the ongoing dialogue with suppliers and the future expansions that are continuously added to Glenten's streaming service.
