Administrative tasks done manually can be unnecessary time waster for many businesses. For the housing administrator Ejsingholm, it was the handling of contracts as well af service-tasks related to moving in and out of rental properties that was causing a lot of administrative resources.

Together with Ejsingholm we have developed a webplatform to simplify and automate administrative tasks so their employees can focus on creating additional customer value and not on repetitive rule based work.

The first steps towards digital administration

To release some of the human resources that was bound in administrative tasks, Ejsingholm had a desire to digitize and streamline some of the analogue and time-consuming processes in a web platform. We started by mapping out the manual administrative tasks and figured out that the first step should be a web application that could provide a comprehensive overview of all properties and leases. For the web application, we developed digital templates that, via the information on the leases, could generate digital leases and send these for digital signing with the tenants.

Additional value to the web application

To minimize the amount of time spent on following up and updating tenant status, the next thing we focused on developing was a system that could alert the administrators and caretakers about upcoming service appointments. The notification system in the web app has helped optimize the execution of service tasks and at the same time helped to minimize the chances of tasks being overlooked or not performed on time.

A long running partnership

What started as a project to simplify and digitize some simple administrative processes in 2016, has grown over the years as new ideas have added additional value to the solution. Today, the web application is helping with everything from document management, inquiries about leases, notification of service tasks and communication between tenants, caretakers and housing administrators.

The specially developed web application has meant that we have had the opportunity to adapt the solution to Ejsingholm's unique wishes and helped to create a close partnership in the search for the optimal digital housing administration solution
